It’s no secret that during traveling your skin becomes dehydrated and dull. Coming from Chicago, and flying to Europe was somewhat of a climate change for us. We literally left freezing temps behind us and arrived in Europe in full on spring mode which can have an effect on your skin. Hence it’s super important to me that I take extra care of my skin while traveling.  I make sure that I have a good skincare routine to combat dehydration while on the road. We traveled a lot while in Europe. We started in Paris, France and afterwards flew to Germany in which we traveled quite a bit as well.

I’ve been using Kristals Cosmetics during my entire trip in Europe, a brand known for its bio-energized formulas inspired by ancient and holistic traditions. I brought with me my RUBY Super Thermal Repair Mask, Facial Nourishing Cream and Facial Serum. The Thermal Repair Mask really did wonders to my skin – it’s unique self-heating system not only smoothed my deep lines but also encouraged my skin to renew itself. As it gently warms to the touch, the mask prepares your skin to absorb the powerful ruby gemstone’s strengthening and nourishing properties.

Adore Cosmetics

RUBY Super Facial Serum – I use this serum every day (morning/night). It helps halt and reverse the aging process using the famed ruby gemstone. The serum also contains jojoba seed oil, a rich and powerful skin emollient which made my skin wonderfully soft!

RUBY Super Facial Nourishing Cream – Just like the serum,  I use the cream every day.  I apply it in the morning to help hydrate my skin by binding moisture to my skin. To amplify ruby’s age-defying properties, Kristals Cosmetics infuse their cream with Hydroviton, which deeply hydrates dry skin. It really helps me seal in moisture for the day ahead!

PS: A special thanks goes out to Christiane, a dear friend of mine who was kind enough to let us shoot at her house. She’s a beauty, inside and out. I love you, Christiane.

As always, thanks much for reading & have a fabulous day!

Much love.

Oh, I want the Ruby Super Serum now! I love serums and yes, when travelling skin becomes dull, dehydrated, for sure (I am a bit in this situation now, and gosh, I am drinking tons of water – but I love water, so it’s fine 🙂 So nice that your friend allowed you to take pictures at her place, she is really a gem, I can see! But you are a gem too, so who could refuse anything to you? You are beautiful and these pictures are really so sweet! I hope you are OK in the US now, and that we soon can meet, who knows – I’d love that! Hugs and kisses!

I love skincare products and trying out new things. I’ve been using Philosophy as my cleanser and Josie Maran argan oil instead of a lotion. I love the argan oil! If you’ve never tried it I definitely suggest it 🙂

Have to try this serum product. Dehydrated skin is so hard to heal. I use the argan oil and sometimes I am using a tip from my grandma, olive oil.

Having read this I believed it was really enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time
and effort to put this short article together.
I once again find myself spending way too much time both
reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile!

This is such crap. I blew so much money on this stuff, I’m embarrassed to say how much. Totally taken in by the idiot sales girls who pulled me in off the street with a free sample in La Jolla, CA. Yes, the boutique looked really nice and shiny, but HELLO: they didn’t even have a sign on the outside of the building! Where to do I begin? 1) Products are NOT guaranteed OR returnable. Receipt stamped “FINAL SALE.” “No Refunds. Exchanges within 14 days” 2) Product literature/descriptions are gobbledy-gook and illiterate–lots of broken english. 3) Instructions for use for a given product can vary from one source (e.g. the cheep little info card they give you at the time of purchase) to another (e.g., the “detailed instructions” you receive from your sales person via email–obviously just typed out in a rush to get it done and not at all professional or personalized). 4) Products are WAY, WAY, WAY over-fragranced. 5) No technical information on how the products actually work–every one of these VERY expensive products should be described, especially the weekly facial products. 5) NO rationale provided as to why my skin was right for the “Ruby” line. What B.S. 6) This company is “fly-by-night” at best: check out their address on Google Maps/Earth –some dump office building in Miami; is the same company as” Adore” cosmetics based on the amazing power of “stem cells” of fruit, just now going by new name “Kristals” and based on the power of “precious gems.” Again, what B.S. Search on “Adore”–THE PRODUCTS ARE ALL THE SAME CRAP, just repackaged!!! OK… I have to say it: I WAS TALKED INTO SPENDING OVER $5,000 ON THIS JUNK–MY CREDIT CARD JUST SORT OF FLOATED INTO THE MACHINE IN THEIR LOVELY LA JOLLA BOUTIQUE. PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your story…same thing happened to me (except for the $5000) in Greenwich,CT yesterday. Very posh store, salesperson never took a breath. I couldn’t ask a question. She took off any makeup I had under my eye (one side only of course) and quickly dabbed on a serum to tighten area and get rid of circles. I couldn’t wait to get out of there- seemed scamish….Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending how you look at it) by the time I got across the street and into another store, the area had dried and was tight with NO circles. So of course I had to Google the price- $449.00- didn’t go back, but it worked!!! So is there another product that is better priced? I can’t any real reviews on this line either….

I should add that “Adore Cosmetics” and “Kristals” and “Deep Sea Cosmetics” are all owned by Universal Handicraft, Inc. out of Miami, describing itself as follows: “Universal Handicraft Inc, is an import/export company that mostly deals with cosmetics products from the Dead Sea In Israel, and waterfall moving/kinetic pictures.
We specialized in Malls specialty retail, and inline stores, Spa and Beauty Salons.”

??? Is this supposed to be a scientific description of these jaw-droppingly expensive products???

Please don’t fall for these obviously fake endorsements and positive comments. Notice the poor grammar and so many sound so similar. I am convinced that this company has puts tremendous work into keeping their internet image as “scrubbed” as possible–maintaining a totally contrived and false positive image. As for the last commenter’s question on where she can find a less expensive product that does the same thing as the one she tried (temporarily tighten up bags under the eyes) is: just about anywhere. Exhibit A: Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum available at WALGREENS for $13.49 VS $449.00 with KRISTALS!!!!!!!!!!!

AND notice that all of the commenters are fellow bloggers… Likely a “you positively comment on my paid endorsements and I’ll do so on yours.” Makes me sick.
