Happy Monday, and thanks so much for stopping by! I hope all of you had a blessed Holiday Season! I spent Christmas with my family and loved ones despite the fact I was sick during the Holidays. My son and I made chocolate covered candy canes, my husband cooked a fantastic Christmas meal, and my son dared his grandpa to eat a sour warhead candy during Christmas dinner which resulted in much laughter! You see, I love creating memories like these. To me, this is what Christmas is all about: Creating loving memories together.

But let’s talk about my hair tutorial, shall we?

I am excited to finally share my hair secrets with you after receiving so many questions on how I curl my hear to what products I use. First of, I love curls. There is something very untamed and sexy about them, and they are actually quite easy to create. While getting ready to go shoot today (outfit post for Wednesday), I decided to do a quick tutorial on how to create pretty, loose curls in 10 minutes flat.

STEP 1

I prep my hair by applying argon oil to the tips of my hair. I swear on argon oil – it’s not only beneficial by providing fatty acids and vitamin E to your hair but it also softens it beautifully.

STEP 2

I section my hair, and start curling away from my face. I use a 5-in-1 curling iron from Bombay Hair. NOTE: I only curl my ends since I prefer a loose curl/wave vs. thick curls.

STEP 3

After curling I brush through my hair with my fingers to loosen up my curls.

And that’s it. It’s super easy. I hope you found this tutorial helpful! Please, let me know if you have any questions, and let me know if you are interested in future tutorials. As always, I would love to hear your feedback!

Thanks much for reading & have a lovely Monday!

Much love.

Hi V. Its been quite a while since I stopped by the blog, apologies for that. Clearly I’ve been missing out on a lot.

Your hair always looks good V, I wish I could say the tutorial will be useful to me but I doubt it……my hair is too short that making even a single curl would be a nightmare. Thanks anyway, to all the ladies out there with lustrous hair….make use of it.

You did promise us some good news on the last post……am patiently waiting.

Happy Holidays doll, lots of love from Nairobi.

So glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas! Making memories like those are truly what it’s about!

I totally agree about argan oil too, I use it on my hair and face daily and it is the best thing, one of my favorite beauty products by far. No wonder your hair always looks so shiny and fabulous!

I hope you are feeling better. Your curls are beautiful and I will try your steps the next time I curl my hair because I seem to only get one side of my hair right and the other side ends up all wonky.

Your hair looks beautiful. I very rarely curl my hair, because they never stay as long as I wish curly, so I think for me it’s not worth most of the time and now when it’s raining and stormy it definitely not worth work.
