One of the things I really enjoy (and no, it’s not going to the gym!) during Summer is heading to the beach after work. I love listening to the waves as they hit the shore — for once I’m not connected to my mobile devices, and I can just let me mind wander around. Lately I’ve been craving a little break which is probably very common if you’re a blogger because we’re constantly socially “on”. I keep reminding myself that my real life is way more important than my life on social media but I must admit: It’s hard to balance it all sometimes. Do you feel the same way?

But let’s get back to fashion…As I have mentioned earlier, Summer is by far my favorite season which is why I always kick it off by buying new outfits and accessories! I’ve picked my favorites above — it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear this Summer!

    Such cute picks… love that dress! I completely agree, that although it’s challenging to put your phone down and step away from your computer and ‘turn off’, it is so important to let yourself live in the moment from time to time. I keep telling myself that too! Have a great day!

    Summer is my favorite season along with the spring, so we have to celebrate !! Really every season is the right to buy!

    I can definitely relate to feeling overwhelmed at times and unless you’re a blogger, it’s really hard to understand. Like you said, we’re constantly “on”, so finding a healthy balance can be hard, but it really is essential. Spending time at the beach is such a wonderful way to mentally escape, I’ve always said that the sea is the best medicine 🙂 With that, I love all your suggestions here, especially that red satchel and sunglasses, such pretty pieces for summer!     Great picks – I love all of them – especially the red bag and the lipstick!
    I can definitely relate to feeling overwhelmed at times and finding it hard to strike a balance between real life and social media! I think being at the beach is a wonderful way to switch off and I am really looking forward to some relaxing time with my family this summer (if I manage to put the phone down!!)

    I totally love celebrating summer with buying new wardrobe pieces!! All of these are amazing picks, I’m so in love with the striped dress, bag and I need those sandals!! Social media can be overwhelming for sure so I try to limit my use to a few times a week as opposed to everyday or you just become consumed by it. Hope you are having a great week Vanessa!

    Loving all your summer must haves! MAC Ruby woo with vino lip liner has been my go to red for the last few months! it’s such a great red that looks great on just about any skin tone. I can’t wait to see you hair tutorial, I saw a little bit of your preview on snapchat. And it looked fantastic. I like to be out in natural to unwind and disconnect from social media too. Its so important to unwind but like everyone else I too struggle with finding that balance 🙁
