Have you ever walked around your own city as if you were a tourist? Over the weekend my husband and I did just that. We walked for miles and miles and soaked in the beauty of the city as if it was our first time seeing it. My husband and I have traveled the world together but this past weekend we had the urge to explore our own city. Thanks to my classic pointed toe flats from Rothy’s it was possible to walk around for miles without my feet getting tired.
The Holiday season is fast approaching. Mittens and gloves are out and the excitement and joy of the season is already in the air. Christmas is my favorite time of year. Christmas is one of those holidays where I can unleash my creativity. And what’s a better way than to celebrate the upcoming holidays with a dear friend who also happens to have a keen eye on design and decorating? Over the weekend, Jennifer L Mattson and I decorated one of her guest bedrooms—we had scores of decorating ideas but the holiday bedding from Kohl’s was our favorite to beautify her guest bedroom for the upcoming holidays.
Over the weekend my oldest son Kingston and I went to Smartstyle by Regis for a fresh new haircut. The Holidays are approaching fast and my little one wants to look his best! We are so glad that we discovered SmartStyle by Regis because it can be tough to find a trustworthy place for a boys haircut. We loved our experience at SmartStyle, the stylists were professional and most importantly kept it fun for Kingston!
