Let’s face it: Chicago is cleaner than New York City and nicer than Los Angeles. I’ve lived in Chicago for more than 15 years and I still swoon over our museum campuses, with art, sea life and T-Rex bones among the attractions. I always say that no city can beat Chicago in the summer. You can catch a concert in the Frank Gehry-designed pavilion at Millennium Park or take a stroll through our famous Magnificent Mile.
If you’re looking to visit a pumpkin farm in the Midwest, I recommend visiting “The Land of the Giants” in Wisconsin. Unlike other farms, no preregistration was required and yet they are making every effort to keep their customers safe. My boys had a ball at the farm, it was the perfect ground to get lost in the corn on an autumn adventure.
It seems we are deluged by bad-news stories while trying to stay positive during the pandemic. The last three months have been challenging so, it’s hard to not feel discouraged or even depressed.
