It’s been a great summer. One of the things I’ve loved most about this summer is that we had family and friends visiting. This included lots of traveling, including the ocean, my personal happy place. We particularly enjoyed taking beach walks and swimming. My favorite memory this summer was sharing this time with Jaxson (my youngest son) and discovering that it is a happy time at the beach for him, too.
Oh no…diaper rash! Before I had a baby I heard that diaper rash was the result of letting a child sit in a wet diaper for too long. Boy, was I wrong! Diaper rashes can have lots of different causes such as sensitive skin, antibiotics and illness. My baby boy Jaxson has very sensitive skin and hence he is prone to diaper rashes but I have learned a couple of tricks on how to minimize and even avoid them.
