Celebrating Early Spring

Fashion lovers, rejoice! Pink is back! Over the weekend we almost had 70 degrees in Chicago which really is a rarity considering it’s only February! And what’s a better way than to celebrate it with your favorite checkered chic crop top and skirt set?!

I found this amazing red and pink wall by accident when I took my oldest dog, Cali for a walk. I honestly have no idea how I’ve never seen it before since it’s literally walking distance from my house. This past weekend my family and I spent a lot time outdoors, from the beach to the play ground with our son Kingston. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen my Insta stories. It really was a fantastic weekend except for the (minor) contractions I’ve had Friday night. However, I’m glad that they were only minor…Baby J is still happily kicking inside of me.

So, here I am celebrating early Spring…I’m so excited for this weather! It’s such a great reminder that Baby J is only a few weeks away until we can finally hold him in our arms. What are you most excited about Spring?!

    Well you’re lucky to be in Spring, I thought we were too in Berlin because last week we saw blue skies, I was warm in my winter coat aber then the weekend came and the weather returned to being grey and freakn’ cold.     You look so beautiful in pink, my friend, I love this checkered set and those adorable pom pom pumps, they look so good paired with the set! I know! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we spent most of it outdoors, too. It has since dipped a bit, but I’ve been eyeing the forecast and it’s supposed to creep back up again and I’m really excited about that! I’m most excited about our baby joining our family too this summer! So, when the warm weather comes around, it makes me that much more excited, too; I can very much relate!     The weather really has been lovely! It was supposed to be low sixties but ended up being higher than that and almost 70 too. Also – isn’t is greta when you find gems like that pink wall by your home? There are so many places in our own backyards that are perfect for a photo op we just might not realize it.
