Have you ever walked around your own city as if you were a tourist? Over the weekend my husband and I did just that. We walked for miles and miles and soaked in the beauty of the city as if it was our first time seeing it. My husband and I have traveled the world together but this past weekend we had the urge to explore our own city.
Exploring our very own city was very refreshing. My husband and I were not only able to see new things but from a completely different perspective. Sometimes you pass monuments, buildings, etc. without paying close attention so, you end up missing the beauty of it all. However, this time Jeff and I made an effort to be in the moment, soaking everything in as if we were tourists.
