Downtown Chicago will always have special place in my heart. I’ve been calling this City home for the least 10 years but I do think eventually it’ll be time to move. Summer’s are beautiful in the City (there’s no other city I’d rather be!) but Winter’s are cruel. I have such a hard time with them year after year…But let’s change the subject, shall we?
New York Fashion Week is currently going on and I’m bummed that I didn’t quite make it this year. Once I will share my surprise announcement you’ll find out why, and everything will make sense! I typically don’t like to have secrets but this one just needs to wait a little longer until…Do you have any guesses?
On a different note, I’m grateful that I was able to spend the entire weekend with my family and friends. We took my son to Ravinia to see the Symphony play music to some of his favorite books/movies, such as Winnie The Pooh, etc. It was so fun!

Chicago winters are very similar to our here in the prairies, they can be so cold and the windchills just make it worse. I feel your pain.
