As a frequent reader of my blog you may already know that I left for NYC over the weekend. It felt great to return to one of my favorite cities to work on some exciting projects, as well as to connect with friends and try out new restaurants.

I left I early in the morning (my flight was at 5:45AM) to head back to the Big Apple. This time my husband (and my boys) stayed home, though. So, I brought Aldrin along, a photographer from Chicago. We truly had the best time together.

Dumbo

Our first stop was at Dumbo. Little did we know how busy attraction Dumbo would be. We arrived around 9AM and Washington St, (the street with the Manhattan Bridge behind you) was already crowded, mostly tourists but tons of bloggers too. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many bloggers on one street trying to get the same shot. So, Aldrin and I left Washington St shortly after which gave us the opportunity to find an even better spot to take these amazing pictures instead.

    That’s one nice chunky jumper. I miss going to Dumbo when i was there last year, i only made it to the bridge. Your shots in the new location are quite awesome.
