If you’re looking to visit a pumpkin farm in the Midwest, I recommend visiting “The Land of the Giants” in Wisconsin. Unlike other farms, no preregistration was required and yet they are making every effort to keep their customers safe. My boys had a ball at the farm, it was the perfect ground to get lost in the corn on an autumn adventure.
Fall is one of our very favorite seasons, it’s still warm and yet the air is crisp, the leaves are changing colors and there are pumpkins everywhere. Both of my boys got to pick their very own pumpkin to carve, run around the farm and simply soak in all the goodness fall has to offer.
And while this year has been challenging for most of us—looking back thus far, I also see lots of happiness. Being quarantined together has truly brought us closer together as a family. Of course, there are periods where things aren’t always jolly but overall we did the best we can. While we didn’t travel this year we made sure to do some exciting things close-by. We picked up kayaking over the summer, we visited the beach quite often, we made lots of exciting art together as a family, and with fall being in full swing we made some visits to the pumpkin patch and picked a few apples at an orchard also.
