Father’s Day with Cibu

Father’s Day is around the corner—a day full of special and memorable moments! In honor of Father’s Day this Sunday, I thought I’d share a little bit more about my husband’s style blueprint. He’s been rocking the side slick which is one of the most popular men’s hairstyles. To achieve this look he mainly uses Cibu hair products, a favorite of ours.

You might associate the ‘slick’ hairstyle with alpha male corporate warriors and sleazy sales guys in purple suits, but slick back hair can be the perfect antidote to…style. Yes, style. To me, it projects a mature and sophisticated quality, something I very much treasure in a man. But there’s room for beyond sophistication—it can be playful too. By playing with different Cibu products to suit the occasion, you can experiment until you find the style you like best!

My husband, Jeffrey used the Slickster Classic Pomade to achieve his look. He simply parted his hair and added a little pomade to create his side slick. You can also use this to create pompadours and side parts. It controls curls and waves + gives you a shiny finish and a strong hold.

To Use: Emulsify in palm. For lighter hold, distribute evenly through damp hair. For firmer hold, use more product on drier hair. Use comb to shape into desired finish. Washes out easily with any Cibu Shampoo.

To Use: Emulsify a pea sixe serving in palms, work through hair. Use finger to style. Came be used on wet or dry hair.

Friday Firm Hold Gel

  • High shine, firm hold styling gel
  • Versatile applications: Thickens, sets curls, sculpts sleek looks
  • Coconut oil nourishes and enhances shine

To Use: Apply to damp hair. Style as desired and allow to dry naturally. To thicken, comb a quarter sixe serving through damp hair and blow dry.
