Flower Girl

We officially moved into our new home and I couldn’t be more in love with our new house and neighborhood! Even though things have been rather hectic, my assistant Allison and I, still managed to explore. We went to a nearby forest preserve to shoot and I’m absolutely smitten how these pictures turned out!

Forest Preserves are perfect backdrops for a photo shoot. I was sitting in the peaceful wildflower meadow and I couldn’t have been more in awe. It seems the older I get the more I’m drawn to nature vs the city. It’s funny because I always considered myself a city girl—but who can really resist a wildflower meadow?! So, for today’s post I’m getting my inner flower girl on—taking one step at a step. Learning to worry less and simply live in the moment.

    I never thought, when I was in my 20 s, that I would ever live in a village! I am living there for over 20 years now! Haha, people change right. Can’t wait to see some pictures of your new home!
