I’m sure we all have a happy place. A special place where we feel secure and beautiful wherever our feet are planted. A place we call home. To me it’s nature. Its serenity takes my breath away, it allows me to have my thoughts run wild and sometimes I’m able to catch a deep breath. These are the moments I treasure the most.

When we bought our new home we knew we wanted to be surrounded by lakes and forest preserves. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Now don’t get me wrong I LOVE Chicago but I couldn’t live there anymore especially with children. I want my children to be able to run around in the nature, go fishing, enjoy hiking, etc. To me those are the kind of memories I want my children to foster. There’s a certain freedom that we have out here—something we wouldn’t have in the city.
Where’s your happy place?
Some of my friends said that either the beach or their home are their happy places. They call these places a place where they can express themselves, discover themselves, and bond with others. I certainly couldn’t agree more with them. What or where is your happy place?!

My happy place has definitely become the home I share with my boyfriend, we also live in the country side. we have dams and a nature forest next door and its so peaceful but at the same time we also close to the city if need be 🙂 Hope you have a awesome Monday babe Mwah xx

My happy place is in the mountains. It’s strange because I didn’t grow up in a place with a lot of tall mountains but when I first visited the Dolomites in Northern Italy I immediately new that this was IT, my happy place 🙂 They quite literally take my breath away.
