Scrolling through Instagram or perusing every influencer’s blog, you might think that influencers spend $1,000 a month on shoes and buy a new coat every season, but the reality is, we don’t. My goal is to inspire your personal style—and what’s more personal than making the most of what you’ve got?
I always say: You don’t have to have the most expensive clothes in order to look luxe or chic. True personal style starts on the inside—with confidence. You need to wear your clothes like you own it. So, today I’ve gathered some tried-and-true tips to making your clothes look ultra luxe, even when they aren’t.
Invest in luxe accessories only. I used to have a teacher and she’d always say:” You can wear sweats with a classic CHANEL and still look like a million bucks”. Thinking about it now I couldn’t agree more. Invest in one classic handbag (like a CHANEL), one that doesn’t go out of style and pair it with any outfit and I will guarantee you that you will look sophisticated and luxe in no time.
Always keep your clothes freshly pressed. I understand that most people do not iron or let alone press their clothes anymore but I cannot stress enough what the extra mile does to your entire look! Freshly pressed clothes will add instant polish to your whole outfit!
Add a touch of gold. Again accessories are key. Do you own a statement piece necklace in gold? Wear it! It’s a tiny touch that you can add to your look that will make all the difference.
Wear monochrome outfit, like black or white. You’ve heard a bit before: A little black dress never goes out of style and I must admit: I may own a ton of them.I love a good LBD, how about you?!

Personally I dont believe that the price speaks always. I could remember during my university days, I had a friend who a;ways purchases tommy shirts but no one ever noticed him, they always noticed the guys who purchase from normal stores because of how put together they look and style really well.
