How To Style Blazers

I may not be going back to school, but my wardrobe certainly is! I personally love a great fitting blazer—they are quintessential. Paired with your favorite pair of denim or a cute floral print dress, blazers will surely upgrade your look in an instant!

I wore this traditionally preppy piece while sightseeing San Francisco with my family. San Francisco isn’t very warm during the summer months (compared to Chicago!). It was a 68 degrees when we went downtown which I think is somewhat cold but I digress. Originally the uniform of old boys’ clubs—I couldn’t help but adopt my own conservative style of corporate men. I paired my striped blazer with my favorite pair of jeans which created the perfect relationship between masculine and feminine dressing! It’s sophisticated and sharp at the same, wouldn’t you agree?

    I love blazers. But my fave summer item has to be dresses. I’m saving one to wear on Saturday when I take the husband to the beach for his birthday. I can’t wait to wear it.

    I love a good blazer. I usually pair them with jeans. I used to wear plain colours but often try and find blazers with a print now that I have kids and they get everything dirty!
