I’m very much a girlie girl, always trying to create a look that is balanced without being match-matchy. One way to do that is to keep one element consistent. This rule goes for fashion and accessories. For example, I stick with rings of the same metal, but mix texture and widths.

My rule of thumb depends on how much space you have between knuckles. You want to be able to bend your fingers.

On a different note, how lovely is this dress?! I’ve been loving midi dresses this summer! And this knitted, plaid dress is just the cutest! I wore this look over the weekend. My weekends are typically very busy this summer I promised my family to slow things down a bit. I want to practice my yoga, go kayaking (I’m going to buy my own kayak this week!) and spend much needed quality time with friends and family. How about you?! And last but not least I want to read as much as I possibly can. These last few months have been so busy I didn’t even get a chance to pick up a book and read. Sometimes I would read in bed but I’d fall asleep shortly after. I simply cannot stay up until 10pm anymore, LOL! Welcome to parenthood, I guess. It takes all of my energy but in a good way!
