I truly believe in modest clothing, and it really is unfortunate that our society doesn’t always value it. The media tells us to wear “this” and the Bible tells to wear “that.” So, I’m especially thankful to brands, like Mikarose, who make it possible for us to still look fashion forward, aka cute, yet stay covered and modest.

    Wow, such a beautiful dress! It’s sad to see how influential society is, of course in a negative way, when it comes to dressing. To see young girls exposing themselves because they see their favorite celebrity do it and so they feel it’s “stylish” is really devastating to me because then, they’re essentially attracting the wrong kind of boys and it can all go down from there. BUT, I’m glad to see that there is a brand that caters to women with a positive message and you did a great job at providing an example on styling such a modest piece.

    I love this dress on you! I’ve always been a fan of modest too, but it is definitely hard to find (without it being boring or matronly) but it looks like you found a great brand! This dress reminds me of something Audrey Hepburn would wear. You look so pretty!
