New House: Powder Room Reveal

I’m so excited to share the reveal of my powder room in my new house! My husband and I doing are currently doing minor projects ourselves (the bigger projects are being done by professionals!), and I honestly couldn’t be more proud of the both of us! My husband painted the entire powder room himself and installed a brand new sink while I decorated/designed the little space. Continue reading to learn more!

My husband and I both knew that we wanted a modern yet vintage feel to our powder room. Initially the powder room was really outdated—there was honestly nothing to it. We ripped out the old sink (it was a pedal stool sink—gross!) and replaced it with a white base and a white quartz/marble counter top. To give it a vintage feel we added brass fixtures and details. The round brass mirror is one of my favorite pieces in the bathroom. I bought mine at Hobby Lobby but Target has a very similar one for UNDER $50—check it out HERE.

I’m also obsessed with our lighting fixture. The eclectic jar-style clear glass shades are a simple, and yet attractive way to update your bathroom. Plus the lights are fully dimmable, so you can create your desired ambiance.

I got our 4-cubby wood wire wall shelf + hangers at Hobby Lobby as well. Both, my husband and I knew that this piece would be a great addition to our powder room. We plan on stacking the cubbies with fresh towels and soaps.
