Pretty in Plaid & Pregnancy Update

I would define my style as classic with a little bit of edge. Plaid is one of these patterns that make it so easy to dress too! No matter your style, you can take advantage of this trend and make it your own as well. I wore my plaid shirt with an edgy moto jacket and paired it with some skinny jeans. Yes, they still fit and I can still button them—but let me tell you: It’s getting tight. Really tight. Which brings me to my 20 week ultrasound appointment I had yesterday.

I was so ready for my big 20-week ultrasound because it meant that I get to see little “Baby J” again! Ultrasounds are common procedures during pregnancy. It’s a non-invasive prenatal test used to ensure that Baby is developing properly, to check the baby’s estimated size and to see how the baby, placenta and umbilical cord are positioned.

Baby J is healthy and getting quite big! He’s in the 65%-tile of growth and weighs around 10 oz. Doctor says that everything looks perfect and that I should continue doing “what I’m doing” which probably means continue eating Taco Bell! LOL! Right after the appointment I literally devoured 3 tacos on my own! I’m telling you: Pregnancy is no joke! When you’re hungry, you’re hungry!

Anyhow, it really was a nice appointment and we couldn’t be more blessed knowing that our little nugget is a healthy little boy! For more pregnancy updates read these posts HERE & HERE.

    Happy t hear everything’s going tickety boo (don’t you just looove that expression) with your lil nugget…speaking about fitting into your jeans, I realy cant believe you have a bun in the oven (wink!) because I just cant see the bump…anyhoo you are gloooowing, have a lovely wkend!
