How To Style Denim Culottes

There’s no question: The denim trend is here to stay. New York and Company’s Soho Collection features both sweeping bell bottoms and slouchier denim styles, like these culottes. Continue reading to see how I styled my denim culottes.

Off The Shoulder Top_Soho Collection_What Would V Wear_New York and Company

I’m wearing an off-the-shoulder top which I have tucked into my culottes to accentuate, and show off my waist. It’s a way to balance the wide bottom. New York and Company’s Soho Collection has a lot of great off-the-shoulder tops by the way — I definitely recommend checking them out! Last but not least, I then added fierce snakeskin heels to complete the look.

Another favorite look of mine is the denim on denim trend. I added an embroidered denim jacket which may seem intimidating at first — yes, it’s a whole lot of denim — but styled the right way, denim on denim can be both flattering and superchic. The key is finding balance, pairing the wide-legged bottoms with shrunken tops, leg-lengthening shoes (heels!), or perfectly proportioned pieces.

On a different note, thank you all so much for your well wishes. My arm will take a long time to heal, and I must admit: It’s extremely hard having one good functioning arm!
