Summer Fun With Evenflo

Summer is almost here! My husband and I enjoy nothing more but taking our boys to the beach! The temperatures are rising, though—which means keeping baby Jaxson and my toddler Kingston comfortable in the backseat can sometimes become a challenge. But we found a way to keep our sons comfortable and cool with Evenflo.

After a long, wet spring, it’s finally warm enough to head to the beach with the family. We always travel with our Evenflo car seats. We have one for baby Jaxson and one for Kingston. And since I have two boys (one being an infant) I will most definitely have Jaxson use Kingston’s Stratos™ Convertible Car Seat once he’s old enough. And here’s my recommendation to new and/or soon-to-be mother’s: Always invest in a great convertible car seat! They are great for babies and toddlers because they can transition with your child as he grows. Also, Jaxson stayed in his car seat for most of day while we were at the beach. He’s only 2 months old hence we kept him out of the sun altogether and stayed in the shade. Kingston changed into his swim trunks but also wore a T-shirt. We then applied sunscreen on Kingston’s skin that was not covered by clothes, including his hands and feet. Daddy and Kingston played near the water and built sand castles while I stayed back with Jaxson under our umbrella. It was very lovely day—Kingston even made friends his age and when it was time to leave he didn’t even complain. Once we headed back to the car he fell asleep his Evenflo car seat, including baby Jaxson. 🙂

    I’ve never heard of this brand before, so I’m glad you’ve mentioned it here, I’ll have to look into it! My due date is on the 4th of July and I’ve been wondering if we’ll be able to take little miss to the beach at all this summer; Eddie LOVES the beach. Now that I know you take Jaxon at 2mths, I’ll have to consider because I’d love to bring her, too! Anyway, thanks so much for sharing, beautiful, I love the photos of you and boys!     Totally agreed – it’s a favorite to go to the beach! I love your yellow pants. You look fabulous! Evenflo sounds perfect for two little ones in the summer heat. I’m so glad you like it!
