There is something so lovely about a simple, everyday dress, don’t you agree? I am currently crushing on this super casual day dress from Boohoo which is under $30 y’all!

I needed something easy since 99% of time I am always running around, for instance: Getting Kingston, my son ready for school, heading to work, pick Kingston up from school, go grocery shopping…oh, and I blog and currently pursue jewelry making. So, you get the picture. I live a very busy life. This being said, every now and then I just crave something easy – hence I purchased this casual dress.

There was a time when my style used to be very monochromatic. I always wore black and/or black and white. As I got older, I started experimenting more, trying different styles, and added lots of colors to my wardrobe but lately, I’ve been coming back to my monochromatic roots. While online shopping at Boohoo, I discovered this white, crochet, off-the-shoulder dress (did I mention that I’m absolutely obsessed with off-the-shoulders tops and dresses?!) and I knew right away that I got to have it! It’s beyond perfect for summer, don’t you agree?

Winter Wonderland

Greetings from Winter Wonderland! Snow calls for weatherproofing and bundling up hence my blanket scarf from Boohoo couldn’t have arrived at a better time! I paired it up with a fun skirt + turtleneck sweater and I must admit: I love wearing my scarf as a blanket! It’s genius for us Chicagoans. It’s just so cozy and keeps me me warm when that wind chill kicks in!

If there is one thing that makes a boring outfit more fabulous, well, that would be a dash of faux fur for me. I absolutely love adding a touch of faux fur into my wardrobe to add interest and texture without adding more pattern. My faux fur vest is by far my number one item during fall and winter because it’s the most perfect layering piece, and is easy to pop on over any sweater or even over a leather jacket for extra warmth and a touch of glamor!

Happy Monday, dolls! Today I am wearing a perfect example of what I would call a ‘statement coat’. I got this coat from OASAP and I am head over heels in love with it! It is absolutely brilliant because, frankly, I could be wearing my PJ’s underneath it and STILL look pulled-together.
