Happy Monday, and thanks so much for stopping by! Spring seems to be around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited! We had such a wonderful weekend and the weather was just perfect (we had almost 60 degrees which made me jump for joy!). You have to understand – when we got back from Europe almost 2 weeks ago we were greeted by heavy snow, and I can’t tell you enough how happy I am that it’s completely gone now. I’m not much of a winter person. The part of Germany I grew up in rarely had cold and snowy winters so, you can probably understand my struggle with Chicago winters.
Anyhow, let’s talk fashion, shall we? Today I’m wearing a banded crop top and comfy waist pants from Bebe. I’ve always been a fan of pairing a crop top with high-waisted pants – there’s something really chic about it without having to bare it all! So, get ready for spring and grab your favorite stomach-revealing tops and start mix and matching, or opt for matching sets! Either way you’ll be a show stopper!

The only thing consistent about denim is that it will always be on trend, and the one thing I’ve learned about denim is that they no two jeans are ever alike.
Collaborating with Red Malt Denim, a local Chicago company who started back in 2011 with a vision to create quality custom-fit jeans was beyond fun. I finally found a local brand that embodies American manufacturing and addresses its customers individual fit. The pair of denim I’m wearing it tailored exactly to my body size, and I must admit: I’m smitten. There’s no better way to show off your favorite heels than with a pair of denim.
And speaking of collaborations: Nothing brings me more joy than supporting other local entrepreneurs. As an entrepreneur myself I can only hope that our community understands the importance of supporting one another. Going after your dreams does not only require confidence, hard work and persistance but frankly a great support system as well.

I’ve been dying to wear these bright orange pants. I’ve got them a couple of weeks ago but I couldn’t figure out what to wear with them. So, when I found this simple crop top it immediately clicked, and I couldn’t have been happier. I love the overall 70’s vibe, too – which got me thinking by the way: Perhaps this is favorite fashion era, besides the Roaring Twenties. This season you have seen me in flared denim, off shoulder tops and tons of high-waisted pants. Do you recall?! What is your favorite fashion era you are most inspired by?
And before I forget: How amazing is this handbag? My husband got it for me after I’ve been talking his ear off about the Chloe Drew. Well, he didn’t get me a Chloe Drew but a handbag that is astonishingly similar to the original for UNDER $150! Seriously, it is such a steal, and just as beautiful as the original! I am determined to make bright colors a cause for celebration! I wore this colorful outfit on the weekend while we are headed to brunch with some friends. There truly is a lot to celebrate and be grateful for this month. My son will officially start preschool on Tuesday, I will be attending NYFW and please, pinch me (!), attend a VOGUE party + autumn is such a beautiful season in itself. It’s the season to take it down a notch, get cozy and watch the leaves change its colors.
