When talented luxury designer Donna Hall, and the team at Wandeleur asked me and three other Chicago bloggers if we wanted to take part in this exciting project I immediately said “Yes”.
Why?!
Because, besides fashion, I also have a love affair with interior design, I really do. When my husband and I purchased our first home together we took such pride in it to make it our own. We completely gutted our house ourselves, we put in new floors, painted the walls, and I even learned how to put in a back splash to our kitchen and bathrooms walls. Yes, if I wasn’t a fashion/jewelry designer I would most definitely be a interior designer. But enough about that.
It was truly exciting to explore Donna Hall’s newly-refreshed home. From Donna herself, “The overall approach was to honor the architecture of the early 1900’s but modernize it by adding elements of French Moderne period, hints of Miami Deco, and glimpses of the Hollywood Regency era.

It’s no secret here that I love a good LWD, and this one is just to die for! It’s definitely going to be my go-to summer dress! The detailing is just beautiful and I love that it has slip sleeves. Also, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with chiffon either. It’s a summer must!

Happy Memorial Day! Don’t you just love a great lace top?! I certainly do! Lace has been a hot trend for several seasons and it honestly has always been one of my favorite pieces to wear. It is a trend that looks classy and sophisticated at the same time without over doing it, and it can be worn over anything really.
