Flared jeans are making a comeback and in a big way! I’ve been wearing skinnies and straight-leg BF jeans for several years now and as much as I love them, I’m super excited to welcome this figure-flattering fit back into my wardrobe! I’ve paired my flared jeans with my favorite tee from Ralph Lauren (it’s so comfy!), tucked it in, and threw my over-sized blazer on! What do you think of this look?! Do tell by commenting below! Today I felt like running around in my fancy OTK boots and pleated, leather skirt! Pleated skirts truly are my favorite: They can be worn for every occasion, and are just so fun! To complete the look I added some pop of color to this black ensemble by wearing a neon knit sweater (it’s still not warm enough to ditch sweaters for shirts) and I must say: I’m really loving this look for spring!

I’m having another tulle moment but this time I wanted to add some contrast to this very feminine ensemble and grabbed my Rider boots from SkinnyCalf. Almost a year ago (my official blog anniversary is April 7! – stay tuned for an exciting post!) an enthusiastic Chicago girl hit the “publish” button, and I’m so grateful that I did just that. Happiness, which I’ve learned, does not come from how many followers you have on Instagram, or how many likes you get on a picture but moreover it is a spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. I’ve made it a habit of mine to try and make at least one person happy every day.
