Lake Michigan is my happy place. Every summer my family and I visit the beach to relax and unwind. I don’t know what it is but being by the water always relaxes my body and soul.

The day before Mother’s Day I wandered into Ann Taylor after seeing their amazing spring pieces in the window. And I was completely blown away—I literally loved everything in the store. With a previous reputation of being a store for women looking for affordable business suits and professional attire, their new Spring/Summer Collection totally blew my mind (and found me at the counter checkout with five items!). So I decided to share one of the looks I purchased at Ann Taylor—enjoy!

…ALWAYS THE ANSWER. Truthfully there’s no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this. These days I’m walking on sunshine, and I couldn’t be happier. The weather is getting warmer—I’ve been spending time at the beach with my boys and did some planting over the weekend. Life’s good.

Whites for Spring/Summer
This season I’m turning the palest shade into an alluring hue you simply want to wear every day. To me, spring/summer is all about feeling easy and effortless. Gone are the days where you had hibernate in your own home to escape the freezing cold. The weather is now warm, the sun is out and the days are longer, and with that—I seem to gravitate towards wearing white.
