Brighten your winter by adding some neon into your wardrobe! Today I want to show you that you can still glow during the winter months too—just keep it as an accent color. Layer a denim jacket, add leather pants over a hot-colored sweater to score an edgy-cool vibe!

I don’t care if temperates dip, as long as my colors remain hot, bright to be precise. It brightens any cloudy and cold winter day! So, add some bright colors to your outfit today and I will guarantee you it will help you beat the winter blues! I recommend making bold colors work for your cold-weather getup is embracing them in cozy knits, cool accent pieces, and wowing pops of color.

PS: Many of you have asked how it feels being a full-time blogger, and all I can say is: It’s amazing. It truly is a dream come true and I couldn’t be happier to have made this decision. I truly believe that if you work hard and keep on pushing that you can get to this point as well. You simply have to keep on going, and don’t forget: Don’t compare yourself to others—but instead focus on yourself and find ways how you can simply be you.

As always, thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous Tuesday! See you back here tomorrow with a new exciting post!

Much love.

The bandana has been around for ages and event though I’m not quite sure when the bandana exactly began, one thing is for sure: The Bandana is not just for cowboys and pirates. I’m rocking this little number today because I wanted to show you how versatile it actually is. In fact, it makes quite the statement, wouldn’t you agree? It is my new it-accessory, and it’s quite inexpensive! This classic printed handkerchief is perfect if you want to add a dash of color and flavor to your outfit, and one thing is certain: This perfect accessory of a handkerchief is coming to Paris with me this week. Because let’s face it: It can’t get more American rocking a bandana since it’s such a great symbol of the American West, or shall I call it the “Wild West”?! While in Europe I’d like to represent my inner “little cowboy” to my family and friends.

So, be sure to come back and follow along my European adventures! I’m quite excited to go back and visit my with family and friends. In my heart, I will always be the little girl from Germany who ended up in the United States for love.

As always, thanks so much for visiting & Happy Monday! See you back here tomorrow!

Much love.

Happy Friday, everyone! First of, don’t be fooled by these pictures. It looks sunny out, and there’s absolutely no snow on the ground – but let me tell you: It was freezing outside! We took these pictures really quick, and we literally jumped back into the car to get some coffee from Starbucks to warm us up afterwards. I mean, it’s brutal. It seems the cold bites into my bones which leaves my whole body sore – I’m not even kidding. It’s that bad. So, here you have it: The life of a fashion blogger. My husband thinks it’s pretty hilarious even though he’s out with me shooting.

But let’s get back to fashion. This coat is a lifesaver. It keeps you warm without looking like a good old duster. I’ve paired it with some faux leather leggings and my favorite red booties (which are under $40!). They make such a great statement, don’t you agree?

How do you stay warm during winter?

As always, thanks so much for visiting & have a great weekend!

Much love.

The only thing consistent about denim is that it will always be on trend, and the one thing I’ve learned about denim is that they no two jeans are ever alike.

Collaborating with Red Malt Denim, a local Chicago company who started back in 2011 with a vision to create quality custom-fit jeans was beyond fun. I finally found a local brand that embodies American manufacturing and addresses its customers individual fit. The pair of denim I’m wearing it tailored exactly to my body size, and I must admit: I’m smitten. There’s no better way to show off your favorite heels than with a pair of denim.

And speaking of collaborations: Nothing brings me more joy than supporting other local entrepreneurs. As an entrepreneur myself I can only hope that our community understands the importance of supporting one another. Going after your dreams does not only require confidence, hard work and persistance but frankly a great support system as well.
