Over the weekend my husband and I had a date night in the city…without our kids. It’s been a while since we headed down to the city on a date night. We enjoyed a delicious meal by the Chicago River, went for longs walks and talked about how much the city has changed from when he proposed to me by the river 13 years ago.
What do you really value? What’s most important to you? It seems our whole aim is geared to finding true happiness. It’s our purpose of life. I’ve been on this journey for a while and guess what?! I found it right where I am.

We walked for miles and miles and soaked in the beauty of the city as if it was our first time seeing it. My husband and I have traveled the world together but this past weekend we had the urge to explore our own city.
