Boho Chic to me can be described in three (3) words: It’s inspirational, dreamy and whimsical. Now most people think of ‘boho’, as in flower-children full of whimsy and free-flowing dresses. To me, boho chic is much more than that. It’s a lifestyle. Being free, and being able to wear what you desire. I love finding unique pieces, and I am certainly not afraid to add more color to my wardrobe. I definitely have fun with fashion and I don’t take it too seriously.

One of the things I did last weekend was exploring the vintage racks in my neighborhood. I found this belt, hidden in a corner. It’s an old Michael Kors belt which I was able to get for just a few bucks! I love finding treasures like these. It’s almost most like these vintage items are telling you a story. It has history, and I just love that. I often catch myself wondering about the owner, and how the person before me wore it.

So, yes, I adore the bohemian lifestyle. I try not too much to conform to trends but instead focus on my own art in fashion.

What are you thoughts on the bohemian lifestyle?

As always, I would love to hear from you, and thanks so much reading!

Much love.

Happy 2016, Everyone! With each New Year I start to begin to think of fresh starts, reaffirmations of love and promises for a brighter future to come without even realizing that I’m already there. I feel extremely blessed. Starting this blog has given me tremendous joy and confidence. And this is because of YOU! If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be living this dream of mine.

So, today I would like to express how much joy you have given me! Your support means the world! I’ve been blogging for 1 ½ years, and I am still in awe of all of you! You are the most amazing friends (yes, I consider all of you my friends!) one could ask for! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart – I am so blessed because of you.  I truly wish you all much joy and happiness in return!

I am counting my blessings but wishing you more, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of us! Let us not forget: We are all writing our own story in this so-called-life so, let’s make it a good one! Happy 2016, my dear friends!

These multi-colored booties with their shiny patent leather have a retro seventies feeling look to them, don’t they? I have long been a fan of booties and with all these fabulous new styles and colors I simply could not resist this pair! Visions of blue, green, purple and fuchsia got me very excited as I saw them on Choies’ website. Known for their reasonable prices I knew immediately that I needed those fun and colorful heels in my shopping cart.

These booties bring out something fresh and exquisite out of them which I why I decided to bring back the 70s this season: Multi-colored booties, midi skirt glam, and a wool coat to keep me warm.

What do you think of this look? Let me know by commenting below!

PS: My husband surprised me with Adobe Lightroom for Christmas and I am sure you can tell that I’ve been experiencing/working with it (especially with these images). I have used only Photoshop in the past so, Lightroom is new territory to me. Please, bear me with me as I am learning as I go, and if you should have any recommendations or tips on how to edit your images beautifully I would definitely love to hear from you!

As always, thanks much for visiting & have a Happy New Year! Can’t wait to see you back here in 2016 as I will start the New Year with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Much love.

Hair Tutorial: Everyday Curls

Hair Tutorial_Every Day Waves_Curls_What Would V Wear

Happy Monday, and thanks so much for stopping by! I hope all of you had a blessed Holiday Season! I spent Christmas with my family and loved ones despite the fact I was sick during the Holidays. My son and I made chocolate covered candy canes, my husband cooked a fantastic Christmas meal, and my son dared his grandpa to eat a sour warhead candy during Christmas dinner which resulted in much laughter! You see, I love creating memories like these. To me, this is what Christmas is all about: Creating loving memories together.

But let’s talk about my hair tutorial, shall we?

I am excited to finally share my hair secrets with you after receiving so many questions on how I curl my hear to what products I use. First of, I love curls. There is something very untamed and sexy about them, and they are actually quite easy to create. While getting ready to go shoot today (outfit post for Wednesday), I decided to do a quick tutorial on how to create pretty, loose curls in 10 minutes flat.

STEP 1

I prep my hair by applying argon oil to the tips of my hair. I swear on argon oil – it’s not only beneficial by providing fatty acids and vitamin E to your hair but it also softens it beautifully.

STEP 2

I section my hair, and start curling away from my face. I use a 5-in-1 curling iron from Bombay Hair. NOTE: I only curl my ends since I prefer a loose curl/wave vs. thick curls.

STEP 3

After curling I brush through my hair with my fingers to loosen up my curls.

And that’s it. It’s super easy. I hope you found this tutorial helpful! Please, let me know if you have any questions, and let me know if you are interested in future tutorials. As always, I would love to hear your feedback!

Thanks much for reading & have a lovely Monday!

Much love.
