Suede is not just suede. It’s much more than the fabric – this plain ol’ borderline cowboy texture has the incredible ability to take us places and decades we’ll never go to (unless we time travel of course), while having the major fashion ability to be all at once. Suede is a statement and this grey suede skirt is no exception. This skirt blends with everything, making the outfit look retro sophisticated, while creating a head-to-toe understated glamour. I’ve paired my suede skirt with a simple cashmere sweater (it’s so soft!) and my favorite lace-up heels. As I have mentioned before: Suede and Burgundy are most definitely my fall must-haves!

Personal fitness is a huge part of my life, and I really try and make it a habit to run each morning before my day starts. I usually run for at least 30min and do some yoga afterwards. I’m currently vacationing in Aruba, and I honestly love working out at the beach. The fresh air, the white sand and the ocean breeze are just so relaxing.

Greetings from Aruba! My family and I are having a wonderful time in the Caribbean, and I am excited to announce that I have a few wonderful projects lined up while I’m here. So, stay tuned for more!

Today I’m featuring a head-to-toe look from A’GACI. I focused on styling this look to create a Halloween costume…can you guess what I’m trying to be?

I think the color burgundy is perfect to be a “seductive” woman, and what’s more “femme” than these lace-up heels? I seriously love them! I’ve been looking for lace-up heels for the longest time, and I’m just so glad that I finally found a pair at A’GACI. What are your plans for Halloween? Any outfit ideas?! I am so excited to share my latest project with Yumi Kim today. Kim Phan, the founder of Yumi Kim started with nothing else but a suitcase in hand and a dream of fashion in mind. Her eponymous clothing line, (named after both herself and her adorable Yorkshire terrier, Yumi), Yumi Kim quickly took off to become a household name amongst the young, fun, and savvy.

When the team at Yumi Kim asked me if I was interested in a partnership with them I couldn’t help but get excited. Like, Kim, I dream big too and I admire those who work hard to make their dreams come true. I firmly believe in determination and hard work in order to make your dreams become reality, and Kim did just that. She opened her flagship store in New York’s Lower East Side in 2008 and was aptly followed by an Upper East Side location—appropriately catering to both the Uptown and Downtown girl. My jumper is from Yumi Kim, and I absolutely love it. Black has always been my favorite. It’s elegant, chic and oh-so polished. I’ve also have a stunning jacket from Yumi Kim which I will feature on Wednesday so, stay tuned.
