I love wearing skirts during winter, don’t ask me why, and this one is by far the softest, most comfortable faux leather skirt ever! It hugs in all the right places, and with the great weather that we’ve over the last few days, well, it simply made it possible to wear this outfit (yay!) – but I must admit: Styling doesn’t always come easy during winter. I’m literally scared when our high is going to be zero degrees! Dunno what I’m going to wear – perhaps I will make blanket fashion a trend! Who knows! The cold weather ahead will certainly be my next obstacle. Stay tuned!
As always, thanks so much for reading & have a fabulous Monday!

Happy New Year’s Eve! With the beautiful weather we’ve had over the last couple of days I decided to dig out my summer dresses ONE more time before the brutal cold hits Chicago.
Fashion is a lot of fun when you have the freedom to be multifaceted, don’t you agree? I love getting up in the mornings because every day is different and gives you yet another opportunity to try something new…in this case pairing my blush lace dress with burgundy colored tights. Mixing these colors are so fun, and I truly never realized how amazing they actually look together (in my opinion, of course!).
What are your thoughts on this look?! I would love to hear from you!
PS: The lace dress is currently ON SALE for only $18.13 & be sure to enter my New Years Eve Giveaway below!

Happy Friday, darlings! I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones! I’m SO glad you stopped by today because I’m demonstrating to you that… YES, you CAN wear this summer style staple during winter!
Maxi dresses, as we all know, are not only one of the most comfortable, flattering, and forgiving items of clothing to wear, but they’re also surprisingly versatile…in other words, why pack away your cute summer maxi’s just because winter is here?
The first trick is to think of your maxi dress as a long skirt! Simply look for layers you would normally pair your skirt with. Secondly, try to rely on boots, tights, or leggings to keep you cozy as the temperature drops. I added a faux fur vest to my dress to create an additional layer of warmth.
How would you style your maxi dress during winter?! I would love to hear from you!
As always, thanks so much for reading & have a fabulous weekend!
Today’s look represents my fond weakness for stripes (along with fun colors)! Anytime I spot the perfect striped piece it inevitably ends up in my closet. A striped dress is most certainly a MUST-HAVE because it’s such a great dress for a perfect night out on the town, don’t you agree?!
My striped dress was definitely love at first sight when I discovered it on Choies.com. Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether or not the item(s) you spot online are just a fab as the picture BUT this dress is truly great! It has a feminine cut, layered stripes, and an unexpected pop of yellow which creates a bit of an edge.
What are your fashion weaknesses?!
As always, thanks so much for reading & Merry Christmas! See you back here on Friday!

Fashionpreneur – Noun: A woman who gracefully mixes fashion and entrepreneurship to build her empire.
I’m excited to collaborate with one of my favorite girls again, Ariana Pierce. She is the founder and owner behind Superstar Nail Lacquer, and the gal behind this awesome tee from her online accessories store, called Style Shoppe. I truly admire her – hence I’m super thrilled to collaborate with her again!
But let’s ponder on the term “Fashionpreneur” for a minute, shall we?! I spent 3 years digesting most of what the Westfaelische-Wilhelms University of Muenster, Germany had to offer but it didn’t fill me up. Still hungry, I packed my bags and decided to pursue my dream, and become a fashion designer in the United States (I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design in 2010). Yes, I moved all the way from Europe to the United States.
As a new-ish blogger I can proudly say that I am a true European at heart. I’d much prefer wearing heels then wear flats. However, being a product of both the hardworking ethics of the United States, and the rather free spirited soul of Europe, I feel I blend both attributes into my fashion choices, as well as my daily style regimen.
Over the last 8 months into my blogging I’ve learned to develop my own style and NOT to believe in fads. I work really hard to build my blogging empire. We all know that building a fashion brand doesn’t happen overnight; yet it has been such a joy ride! I’m truly grateful for all of the exciting opportunities I’ve gotten, but let me tell you: Yes, it is a lot of work. As much fun as it is, it is a real part-time job (taking pictures, editing pictures, creating content, social media updates, etc.) next to my full-time corporate job. But it’s all worth it because of YOU. If it wasn’t for you, dear readers I truly wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing! So thank you for your continued support! I appreciate all of you so much!
As always, thanks so much for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to Ariana Pierce who gifted me with the “Fashionpreneur” tee.
