So excited for the opportunity to collaborate with OBEY Clothing today. “OBEY Clothing was founded on the art, design and ideals of Shepard Fairey. What started for Fairey with an absurd sticker he created in 1989 while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design has since evolved into a worldwide street art campaign, as well as an acclaimed body of fine art” [to read more about the designer click here].

I am all about self-empowerment which is exactly what Fairey’s ideology is; with biting sarcasm verging on reverse psychology, he goads viewers, using the imperative “obey,” to take heed of the propagandists out to bend the world to their agendas.

To get my ‘word’ across I am wearing OBEY’s fall staples: The front thrift tee made in gauzy pigment dyed cotton/modal jersey for a vintage look, paired with their newest military jacket (which consists of authentic military fabrication). And before I forget: Did you know that OBEY Clothing sells amazing jewelry as well? I received the most gorgeous over-sized, celestial inspired geometric statement ring from them also which I will feature next week! Stay tuned!

And now, head on over to Obey Clothing and check their website out, and be empowered!

As always, thank you for reading and a BIG THANK YOU to OBEY Clothing for sponsoring this post.

Happy Wednesday, lovelies! I am so excited to announce a new brand project with you! I have recently teamed up with Chicnova, an online fashion retailer who offers “mix & match” fashion at reasonable prices.

I am wearing the yellow floral dress which is made of chiffon (have I ever mentioned to you that I love chiffon dresses?!). It is super comfortable and light-weight; I feel very much like a lady in this dress. And as you can tell: I do not want to let go of bold colors! I love bright colors because they certainly lift my mood, and quite frankly: They remind me of summer (my favorite season), AND with that I am letting the weather know that I am not ready for the cold and brutal Chicago winter which will be here sooner or later. So, stay tuned of what I am going to wear during the winter season…until then, though: Let’s enjoy this beautiful fall season with some bright colors!

PS: How gorgeous is this necklace from Monogram Necklace? You seriously have to check them out! Monogram Necklace is the place where a name turns into a unique piece of jewelry, in this case my son’s name.

As always, thank you so much for reading and a BIG THANK YOU to Chicnova & Monogram Necklace for sponsoring this post.

Happy Monday, lovelies! I am so excited to share a look from Shabby Apple today! I teamed up with them to introduce you to their amazing skirt collection, and let me tell you: They are all beautiful! In 2006, founder, Athelia Woolley LeSueur created a business plan that would help beautify and empower women, and has been successful ever since!

I am wearing the Dutchess Skirt which is such a beautiful calf length (flare) skirt. I haven’t worn a calf length skirt in such a long time and I must admit: I am swooned! Are you?!

As always, thanks so much for reading & don’t forget to comment below! I would love to hear from you!

Thank you to Shabby Apple for sponsoring this post.

I am super excited to introduce you all to a wonderful designer from NYC today! I teamed up with designer and founder, Kirat S. Anand of KAS New York to give you a peek into his unique designs. Kirat began his career as an investment banker at JPMorgan, but it wasn’t long before he left to follow his heart to become a designer.

I am wearing a cheerful yellow shift dress with a red color-blocked at hem, and pink peter pan collar that is simply to die for! When KAS New York contacted me to review his collection – I knew this dress would be it! I love how you can wear it perfectly during the summer, as well as during autumn. I paired this dress with black nylons and my new fall booties from Sears (yes, Sears y’all!) to give it an autumn feel…, et voilà! Mission accomplished!

Visit KAS NEW York here, and be mesmerized by his pieces! He is known for his impeccable use of exotic print and colors, and I can promise you that Kirat’s designs are destined to become your centerpieces of your fall wardrobe as well!

As always, thanks so much for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to KAS NEW YORK for sponsoring this post!

Below are easy-to-wear staples from KAS that add a vibrant, bohemian-inspired vibe to your fall ensembles.

Happy Wednesday, lovelies! Today I am wearing a custom tulle skirt design by eShakti (which I have paired with a comfy turtleneck sweater from Express). Yes, this skirt was customized to fit my body perfectly, and guess what?! eShakti does customizations without breaking your bank (by keeping up with technology as it is advancing, they are able to provide customization at a modest cost). I am head over in heels in love with my skirt – because let’s face it: Who doesn’t want a Carrie Bradshaw moment? Ever since I saw SJP wear a gorgeous tulle skirt on Sex and The City, I’ve been smitten.

Check eShakti out here and get 10% off your purchase if you use coupon code ‘whatwouldvwear’ at checkout (valid through 10/30/2014)!

Happy Shopping!

As always, thank you for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to eShakti for sponsoring this post!
