I call myself lucky that we live so close to the water. We are surrounded by lakes—sailing is hence a must! What to wear on a boat toes the line between functional and stylish; knew I wanted to channel just the right amount of laid-back cool and chic. So, I decided to wear a pair of white cropped denim, an oversized blue blouse (white & blue screams nautical!), and classic sunglasses.
With summer slowly coming to an end, many folks (including my family and I) are being outdoors as much as we can! We made plans this to hit the dock-side this past weekend because let’s face it: Who doesn’t love a nice breeze and a good day out on the waters, right? That is the fun part. With activities, foods, and gatherings already planned out, it comes down to what to wear. I don’t care if this a boat party or a casual boat ride, one thing is certain: I will always opt for something both stylish and comfortable.
Keep it simple
My #1 rule for boating: Keep your outfit as simple as you can. While choosing your boating outfit, keep the outfit as simple as you can.
Comfortable Chic
Truly my motto when it comes to boating looks. I don a pair of white cropped denim with a light-weight shirt/blouse, and a pair of comfortable mules.
