I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring. The dark mornings and evenings, and the cold chilly gray weather has gotten to me. It’s been so cold and windy this past weekend that I wasn’t able to shoot outdoors. This makes me feel less-energized and somewhat depressed. However, whenever I feel down I make sure to get out of the funk. In today’s post, I am sharing how I personally beat the winter blues. Continue reading to learn more.
Get moving
Whenever I feel tired and drained I make sure that I get a least 20min on my treadmill to boost my energy. I sometimes walk and when I feel like being extra sporty I run for at least 30min. This gives me such a boost (hello, endorphins!)—making it easier to tackle another busy day.
Sleep, sleep
While I must admit that it has gotten harder for me to get enough sleep (I often work at night when both boys are asleep—like tonight!), I do make sure that I get 8hrs of sleep at least 4 times a week.
Meditate each morning
I made a habit to take 10min for myself in the morning to just mediate and read the bible. It gets me in the right spirit.
Get together with friends
