Winter Coat_Dawn Levy_What Would V Wear

A good fitting winter coat is super essential, don’t you agree? I dread the winter each year, and I’m always looking for a stylish, warm yet comfy coat that will protect me from the nasty cold weather. This year I found one that is not only fashion-forward but actually keeps me warm, too! The coat I’m wearing is from Dawn Levy. I prefer classic winter coats in neutral colors hence I got mine in black, as it blends well with all of my outfit combinations.

Now I know buying for winter coats can be extremely tricky but don’t get frustrated. I’ve learned that knee to thigh length coats are versatile and look good on all body shapes. Seriously. Avoid letting the hem hit your calves as it automatically shortens your frame and make your legs look stubby (not in a good way). Other than that make sure that the coat will indeed keep you warm. I’ve had many coats that were “pretty” but didn’t do its job in keeping me warm.

    I definitely agree with you in the philosophy of picking a good winter coat. I’ve had one before that was pretty but not warm and I suffered that winter. This coat looks both. Nice pick. Have a fab day beautiful.

    So true. When ever I was picking out winter coat the most important was the fit and warmth, because I don’t like to freeze. Since I’m living in Ireland, winters are without snow and temperature very rarely drop more then -11C. So nice wool blend coat is just fine for me. I need to stock up more on cardigans and jumpers. Vanessa, I think you have found perfect winter coat. You look fab.
